Why are we talking about growing your business on The Selling Podcast? Every salesperson is running his/her individual business. How you structure your business of sales is up to you. You must drive the results. Whether you are selling socks or software, machinery or medicine, you must ensure these 4 items are met.
Marketability includes:
- Who is your product going to reach? Are you offering the right product to the right person/people?
- Are you conveying the right message? Does what you say, accurately reflect your product design, function and implementation?
Passion is like paint... it makes things look great and fills small cracks. I would likely buy something that fits me 95% of the way if someone is passionate. Are you passionate about what you are selling? if you are not, you need to leave and find something else that gets you excited or at the very least, get you motivated to go to work.
